We loved these cookies! My spouse and I agreed they were a slightly "adult" take on chocolate chip cookies, as the taste and texture were a bit more subtle than the standard recipe we grew up with. We enjoyed them as a delicious treat in the middle of our workday, but they would be just about perfect any time of day (or night)!
